Position Overview
Provide excellent support service to our internal customer account managers to provide order entry, contact with internal staff and contact with buyers. Utilizes work instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision of Spirit’s Account Representative. Maintains the company standards involving ethical and moral values while professionally representing Spirit Electronics.
Essential Job Functions
- Prepares source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information; establishing entry priorities.
- Processes customer and account source documents by reviewing data for deficiencies; resolving discrepancies by using standard procedures or returning incomplete documents to the team leader for resolution.
- Enters customer and account data by inputting alphabetic and numeric information into the company ERP system, customer portals and various databases.
- Maintains data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures.
- Verifies entered customer and account data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data; combining data from both systems when account information is incomplete; purging files to eliminate duplication of data.
- Tests customer and account system changes and upgrades by inputting new data; reviewing output.
- Secures information by completing data base backups.
- Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
- Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.

Requirements
· Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 0-3 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
· Proficient in MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
· Motivated self-starter, attention to detail
· Keyboarding 50 wpm
· Strong interpersonal skills, including good written/verbal communication
· Multi-tasking in fast-paced environment
· Attendance/punctuality
· Distribution or industry experience preferred
