The Institute for Contemporary Art (ICA) at Virginia Commonwealth University is seeking qualified part-time Audio/Visual (A/V) Technicians to support the ICA's wide array of programs, events, and classes. This position requires baseline knowledge and interestversatility in lighting, sound, projection, video, streaming, and stage management. A/V Technicians act as an on-site point of contact for any event they are scheduled for, responsible for tracking, setup, operation, and breakdown of all necessary equipment. A/V Technicians maintain a level head when troubleshooting and solving any technical issues that may arise during an event. More than one hire could be made from this posting announcement.
