Institutional Compliance Analyst
Overview
The Vice President of Institutional Compliance & Security is hiring for a Institutional Compliance Analyst.
This position supports university compliance efforts by researching regulatory requirements, monitoring assigned compliance activities, maintaining records and reports, assisting with policy and procedure updates, and helping coordinate training and communication with campus stakeholders. This position analyzes information, identifies potential compliance concerns, and works with departments to promote consistent adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and Auburn University policies.

Responsibilities
- Supports the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of procedures used to assess and manage compliance-related risks across the university.
- Assists in identifying, reviewing, and maintaining university-wide policies and procedures to ensure consistency and regulatory alignment.
- Contributes to the monitoring and evaluation of the institutional compliance program, including data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Coordinates planning, scheduling, and documentation for regular Institutional Compliance Committee meetings.
- Provides administrative, communication, and operational support for various compliance functions, including conflicts of interest disclosure review, youth protection monitoring, software vendor vetting, and compliance outreach initiatives.
- Assists in preparing, delivering, and tracking compliance training and educational programs for university employees.
- Reviews compliance areas to verify that required training, documentation, and records are maintained effectively and efficiently.
- Helps identify, recommend, and implement best practices for an effective compliance program, consistent with the Federal Sentencing Guidelines.
- Develops and maintains working knowledge of applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and university systems and procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree- no specific discipline.
- 3 years of experience in regulatory compliance, risk management, auditing, legal, or other relevant field.
Desired Qualifications
A degree in Business, Political Science, Public Administration, Communication, Health Administration, English, or Law is desired.
