Title: Instructional Support Associate / SL-2

The State
University of New York (SUNY) College at Canton invites qualified applicants for a full-time, Instructional Support Associate (SL-2)
position in the Funeral Services Administration Department beginning August 1, 2027. This position is a 10-month obligation.
Salary:
$45,075 - $$47,075
Required Qualifications:
- Funeral Director licensure in New York State.
- Valid
unencumbered NYS driver's license. - Associate's degree in a relevant field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
Duties:
- Supporting daily operations of the Funeral Services Administration
program:- Preparing labs.
- Providing technical support to students and faculty during lab time to ensure a safe and clean
laboratory environment.
- Ordering and managing supply inventory.
- Maintaining a variety of lab equipment including
hardware and software installation, upgrades, operational checks, and troubleshooting. - Arranges for repair/replacement of broken
equipment. - Maintains tracking of all documents related to student licensure in compliance with ABFSE Standards.
- Tracks
online students and coordinates mandatory residency. - Transports cadavers to and from SUNY Upstate Medical.
- Serves as a
resource person for faculty and students in matters relating to the FSAD labs. - Continuing education in areas that meet the needs of
the department. - Possess good communication and organizational skills and function well as a member of a team.
