Major/Essential Functions
Is a non-tenure position providing didactic or clinical teaching support for the Accelerated BSN Program. Reports directly to the Accelerated BSN Program Director. Assists with didactic and clinical instruction and/or evaluation in a specified clinical area or in the simulation lab, as assigned. Provides feedback to faculty regarding student performance and learning achievements. Provides subject matter expertise on course content, as assigned. Perform other duties as assigned to support the academic mission of the Health Sciences Center and the School of Nursing.

Preferred Qualifications

Required Qualifications
Master’s degree in Nursing or 50% completion for MSN from an accredited college or university. Minimum of 2 years of teaching in baccalaureate nursing education. Minimum of 2 years clinical experience required for clinical teaching roles. Unencumbered licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Texas.
