On a part-time limited basis, the Adjunct Faculty member’s primary academic functions include teaching, discovering, creating, and reporting knowledge to a variety of students.
Essential FunctionsOn a part-time basis, conduct and teach assigned undergraduate and/or graduate-level courses and seminars.May serve as an academic advisor for students and evaluate student coursework.Engage in other activities ancillary to or in support of responsibilities.Review, and where necessary, respond in a timely manner to all University-related communications.Other related duties as assigned.Minimum RequirementsA BSN or higher from an approved registered nursing education programRequired Trainings/CertificationsCurrent, valid licensure as a registered nurse in OhioRequired ExperienceHave at least two (2) years of experience in the practice of nursing as a registered nurse. Applications will not be reviewed if CVs are not in the required format. This is in accordance with the Ohio Board of Nursing Guidelines. Official transcripts are required during the hiring process. Per the Ohio Board of Nursing guidelines, transcripts should be provided for all nursing higher education degrees obtained which may include Associates Degree, Bachelors Degree through higher levels as applicable.
