Instructor/Assistant Professor, Nursing
Anticipated Start Date: August 2026
Summary of Job Duties and Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be responsible for didactic and clinical instruction in the nursing programs within the School of Nursing and Health Professions. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate a commitment to scholarship and service as well as excellence in teaching.
Minimum Education Requirements: Master of Science in Nursing required. Doctoral degree preferred.
Minimum Experience and Skill Requirements: Current RN license. Must have attained or be eligible for licensure in Kentucky. Must have at least two years' experience as a Registered Nurse.
Note: If the successful candidate is master's prepared, the position will be filled as a non-tenure track, instructor. If the successful candidate holds a terminal degree appropriate for the position, the position will be filled as a tenure-track, assistant professor.
