Instructor, Criminal Justice
Job Summary
Reporting to the campus department instructional leader, instructors provide assistance to students in their learning process by utilizing all appropriate college resources, materials, facilities, and educational technologies available to complement the teaching and learning process providing a direct impact to student success.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Performance Requirements include accepting and teaching classes based on varied schedules, accommodating student needs, aiding in curriculum development, preparing and delivering instruction, communicating with students, pursuing professional development, preparing assignments, maintaining classroom environment, evaluating student performance, and more. Service Excellence duties include supporting the College mission and adhering to policies.
Required Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree or higher in Criminal Justice or Juris Doctorate with graduate hours in Criminal Justice or Master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in Criminal Justice from a regionally accredited institution.
