Minimum Hiring Annual Salary: $51,856.00 Maximum Hiring Annual Salary: $72,250.00
This is a Full-Time, due process, benefited Faculty position beginning Fall Semester, 2026.
The faculty member will conduct their assignments and co-curricular college activities in a manner consistent with the philosophy and purpose of Aims Community College. The primary purpose of the faculty member is to teach.
This position is a collaboration between Aims Community College and Weld RE-4 School District, supporting the launch of a newly established Career and Technical Education Center. The faculty role will be based at the District Career Center.
Teach classes on a morning, afternoon, evening, weekend, and/or combined schedule as assigned. Duties include advising students, developing curriculum, assisting with equipment and facilities, participating in meetings, and complying with policies.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in related field such as Diesel Power Mechanics OR the ability to obtain this degree within two-and-a-half-years (2.5) of beginning employment: plus, Two (2) years (4,000 hours) of relevant industry experience
- OR Current industry license/certification plus 6,000 hours (3 years) of relevant industry experience.
- Shall hold or qualify for a full-time, post-secondary vocational credential in Automotive issued by Aims Community College CTE Office.
- Full and current Automotive Service Excellence, (ASE) Certification in A1-Engine Repair, A2-Automatic Transmission, A3-Manual Drive Train and Axles, A4-Suspension and Steering, A5-Brakes, A6-Engine Repair, A7-Electrical/Electrical Systems, A8-Engine Performance.
- ASE G1-Certification must be obtained prior to first day of classes.
- ASE L1 Certification must be obtained within the first year of employment.
