Minimum Hiring Annual Salary: $51,856.00 Maximum Hiring Annual Salary: $72,250.00

This is a Full-Time, due process, benefited Faculty position beginning Fall Semester, 2026.

The faculty member will conduct their assignments and co-curricular college activities in a manner consistent with the philosophy and purpose of Aims Community College. The primary purpose of the faculty member is to teach.

This position is a collaboration between Aims Community College and Weld RE-4 School District, supporting the launch of a newly established Career and Technical Education Center. The faculty role will be based at the District Career Center.

Teach classes on a morning, afternoon, evening, weekend, and/or combined schedule as assigned. Duties include advising students, developing curriculum, assisting with equipment and facilities, participating in meetings, and complying with policies.

Minimum Qualifications

Associate's Degree in related field such as Diesel Power Mechanics OR the ability to obtain this degree within two-and-a-half-years (2.5) of beginning employment: plus, Two (2) years (4,000 hours) of relevant industry experience
OR Current industry license/certification plus 6,000 hours (3 years) of relevant industry experience.
Shall hold or qualify for a full-time, post-secondary vocational credential in Automotive issued by Aims Community College CTE Office.
Full and current Automotive Service Excellence, (ASE) Certification in A1-Engine Repair, A2-Automatic Transmission, A3-Manual Drive Train and Axles, A4-Suspension and Steering, A5-Brakes, A6-Engine Repair, A7-Electrical/Electrical Systems, A8-Engine Performance.
ASE G1-Certification must be obtained prior to first day of classes.
ASE L1 Certification must be obtained within the first year of employment.
