Instructor- Environmental Science
Job Summary/Basic Function
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Teaching Instructor faculty typically teach 15 contact hours per semester (undergraduate) or 30 contact hours per academic year
- Faculty are expected to contribute to the program, department, University, and profession through appropriate service obligations, including the advising of students and committee service.
- Teach undergraduate biology courses as assigned (including, but not restricted to, general biology, general chemistry, evolution, ecology).
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Strong interpersonal, organizational, oral and written communication skills.
Minimum Qualifications
Earned M.S. in environmental science, natural resources, biology, ecology, agriculture or related discipline is required. Demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence in the undergraduate classroom.
