Position Description

The Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies at Spelman College invites applications for a one-semester, part-time, non-tenure-track position in Religious Studies. We seek a broadly trained scholar of religion who can teach the Bhagavad Gita. The teaching load is one course, Introduction to the Bhagavad Gita. Applicants should demonstrate a commitment to excellent teaching, including the use of inclusive pedagogies, strong mentoring, and academic support of diverse student populations. All courses are taught in- person.

Qualifications

A master's degree is required.
