Required Education:
*Any master’s degree with at least 18 graduate credit hours in
graphic design, web design, interactive media, or digital art
*At least five years working with Adobe Creative Cloud suite as
demonstrated by a portfolio of creative work
*At least five years in website development/design using HTML, CSS,
JavaScript, etc. as demonstrated by a portfolio of creative
work.
Preferred Education:
*Master’s degree in graphic design, web design, interactive
media, or digital art
*At least three years teaching college-level graphic design/web
design courses (including serving as a graduate assistant) as
demonstrated by a portfolio of student creative work
*At least five years working with Adobe Creative Cloud suite as
demonstrated by a portfolio of creative work
*At least five years in website development/design using HTML, CSS,
JavaScript, etc. as demonstrated by a portfolio of creative
work
*Experience teaching courses with learning management system (LMS)
such as Canvas, Moodle, Blackboard, etc.
*Experience teaching dual enrollment/early college high school
students
*Experience with industry-based certifications (Adobe, CIW,
etc.)
*Curriculum development
*Professional activity as a practicing graphic designer or web
designer
*Advanced graphic design skills using the Adobe Creative Cloud
suite
*Advanced front-end web development/design skills using HTML, CSS,
JavaScript, etc.
*UI/UX design
*Web hosting solutions
