Instructor, Hematology or Immunohematology
Position Summary
The Department of Allied Health Sciences, within the Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, invites applications for a full-time (9.5 month) Instructor position in hematology or immunohematology. The appointment is scheduled to begin on July 1st, 2026.

Academic rank and compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's qualifications, experience in clinical practice or clinical management, and experience in professional education.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
- Teaching and student advising at undergraduate and graduate levels. Expected teaching responsibilities will primarily support the Bachelor of Science and Master of Science Clinical Laboratory Science programs and include lecture and laboratory courses in hematology or immunohematology with additional Clinical Laboratory Science courses.
- Work closely with the Clinical Laboratory Science Program Director to continuously improve the quality of instruction, assist with course planning, and support program accreditation.
- Contribute to the service mission of the department, college, and professional community.
