Job Description
The School of Nursing and Allied Health is seeking candidates for a full-time Instructor (9-month) position for the online LPN to ASN Program with an August 15, 2026, start date. Qualified applicants have expertise in adult Medical Surgical/Critical Care Nursing.
Requirements
- Minimum of a Master's degree in Nursing.
- Maintain active, unencumbered Kentucky or compact state RN and/or APRN licensure, and meet any additional requirements as required by clinical agencies (which may include but is not limited to: Immunizations, titers, liability insurance, CPR, TB screening, and annual influenza vaccination). The cost of meeting the clinical agency requirements is at the expense of the faculty.
- Minimum of two-years of acute care medical surgical/critical care nursing practice within the last five years (or) recent medical surgical/critical care clinical teaching experience.
- Candidates must be able to teach in classroom, lab and clinical settings as assigned.
