The Middlebury College Summer School of Abenaki is pleased to announce vacancies for temporary faculty in the School of Abenaki. These positions are available during the summer 2022 session, located on Middlebury College campus in Vermont. Our program combines cultural immersion and language instruction drawn directly from the Minimalist Course for Abenaki. This is an opportunity to join a community of learners, by actively engaging in teaching, dining, residing and recreating with students while reading, writing, and speaking Abenaki.

We are looking for a faculty member with the following characteristics:

• An active member of the Abenaki language community and ongoing language reclamation.
