The School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering has vacancies for individuals who would like to teach one or more of the following courses:

1. Metrology

Course outline: This course will expose students to the fundamentals of dimensional metrology, production gages and gaging techniques. Interpretation of geometric tolerances will also be covered with respect to their implications for inspection.

Qualification:

Master Degree related to advanced manufacturing technology

Five years or more of combined work experience

2. Principles of Mechanical Design

Course outline: This course will provide design fundamentals for mechanical systems that utilize components such as brakes, clutches, shafts, gears, and pulleys. The course will investigate component form, fit, and function along with parts reduction, fabrication alternatives, and feature improvements.

Qualification:

Master Degree related to mechanics or related fields

Five years or more of combined work experience
