The ideal candidate will: possess experience teaching both Classical and Contemporary Commercial Music; demonstrate successful teaching with non-music majors and music majors; enjoy teaching students who range in skills from beginner to advanced. The successful applicant will hold, at minimum, a Master’s degree in music or commensurate experience as a performer and educator. The primary teaching activity involves weekly, private lessons in voice, but may also include administrative oversight of vocal activities in the department. The expected starting salary range for this position is between $78.00-82.00/hour. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibilities.
