Position Details:
Indiana State University's Bailey College of Engineering and Technology is seeking applications for a capable full-time faculty member. Primary duties include teaching and supporting the Aviation Management degree program. Secondary duties within the Unmanned Systems degree program are desirable. Other tasks as assigned. Skilled teaching of undergraduate courses in the Aviation Department degree programs is crucial. This is a nine-month position with the possibility of summer teaching assignments.

Job Summary:
Reporting to the Chair of the Department, this position will teach and provide service to the Department, College, and University as assigned. In addition to delivering instruction in courses such as AVT 140 Private Pilot Ground Training, AVT 317 Technically Advanced Aircraft, AVT 413 Advanced Transport Category A/C, AVT 415 ATP Ground, AVT 417 ATP Flight, AVT 441 Flight Instructor Ground Training, the faculty member will also engage in curriculum development, participate actively in departmental and college-level meetings, and contribute to program assessment and accreditation activities. Responsibilities extend to serving on university committees, collaborating on initiatives that promote academic excellence, and supporting the broader mission of the institution through service and outreach. This role requires maintaining open communication with the department leadership, adhering to institutional policies, and seeking continuous professional development to enhance both teaching and service commitments.
