Part-Time Faculty, Aviation
Job Summary/Basic Functions
The Department of Aviation at Eastern Kentucky University invites applications for a part-time faculty position to teach courses in Aviation. Courses be in an online or traditional classroom modality.
Courses may include, but are not limited to:
- Aviation law, UAS, Management/Leadership, Human Factors and Safety, and Flight.
Master's degree in Aviation, or a related field with at least five years of work experience in aviation will be required. FAA Instructor Certificate is desired.
Part-time faculty may teach up to nine credit hours, depending on departmental needs.
Applicants will be screened and contacted as departmental needs for part-time faculty arise. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
Unofficial transcripts are acceptable at the time of application. Official transcripts are required at the time of the position offer and as a condition of employment.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master's degree in Aviation, or a related field with at least five years of work experience in Aviation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- FAA Instructor Certificate
Job Duties:
- Teach courses as assigned at the times and in the locations necessary to meet the needs of EKU students.
