Job Description

Tarleton State University invites applications for the position of Instructor of Business Communication in the Department of Marketing and Computer Information Systems in the Dr. Sam Pack College of Business. This is a 9-month non-tenure-track position located on Tarleton’s main campus in Stephenville, Texas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver undergraduate Business Communication courses with a 5/5 teaching load.
• Develop course syllabi, select instructional materials, and design assessments.
• Assess student performance and provide timely feedback.
• Engage students in active learning and foster critical thinking skills.

Minimum Requirements

Required Education and Experience: Earned Master’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Management, or a closely related field from an accredited institution. Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
