Position Overview

Position Summary: Eastern New Mexico University is seeking an applicant for full time Instructor in CDIS beginning August 2025. Instructor primary duties will include teaching undergraduate coursework and supervising graduate level student clinicians. Salary will be commensurate with education and experience. This is a residential appointment. Campus presence is required.

Requirements

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in CDIS
• Provide clinical supervision
• Assist with ASHA accreditation compliance
• Participation in program, departmental, and university activities

Minimum Job Requirements:

• CCC-SLP and Master's degree
• At least two years of CDIS practice experience
• Eligibility for NM licensure as SLP

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Candidate must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Candidate must possess a commitment to excellence in teaching students of diverse backgrounds.

Working Conditions

Physical Demand and Working Conditions: Work is generally sedentary in nature that at times requires exerting up to 10 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
