Effective teaching, service and commitment to the Department of Marketing and Management, the Norris-Vincent College of Business, and Angelo State University are required. All candidates are expected to maintain a status of either a Scholarly Practitioner (SP) or Instructional Practitioner (IP) in accordance with the Norris-Vincent College of Business Faculty Qualifications Guidelines.

Typical Duties/Job Duties

The individual hired for this position will be required to fully participate in the activities of the College to include recruitment, student advising and service on committees. The primary teaching assignments for this position will be in management-related courses, including human resource management, organizational behavior, and strategic management.

• Dedication to helping ASU students succeed, particularly first-generation college students.

Minimum Qualifications

• Masters degree in business administration (MBA) or a related area. If degree is in a related area, the candidate should have substantial work experience in management or scholarly publications in the management area
• Scholarly Practitioner (SP) or Instructional Practitioner (IP) status at time of appointment
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills
• Willingness to teach both traditional face-to-face and online delivery modes

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience teaching at the college or university level.
• Private industry work experience.
• A Ph.D. in management or closely related field.
