Salary Basis: Commensurate with experience, qualifications, and university’s resources.

Responsibilities:

• Instruct students in developmental and college-level mathematics courses.
• Hold regular office hours.
• Provide tutoring services to students as required.
• Attend and participate in departmental, college, and university meetings and activities.
• Serve on departmental and university committees as assigned.
• Assist in recruitment of students.
• Provide information and data as requested.
• Remain current in the field by participating in professional development activities.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in mathematics, applied mathematics, or statistics (MS or MA), or master’s degree in mathematics education with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in mathematics.
• Familiarity with current education trends at the post-secondary level.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with students.
• Experience with online learning management systems.
