Contribute to ongoing course development and coordination of
developmental mathematics courses and Summer Bridge Program.
Play a leadership role in common assessment and continuous
improvement efforts of lower-level undergraduate mathematics and
statistics courses.
Participate in departmental and university service appropriate
to a teaching-focused appointment.
Support student learning and development through effective
teaching, mentoring, and engagement with the various student
bodies.
Workload: The standard teaching load is 15 credit hours per
semester (typically five 3-credit courses), for a total of 30
credit hours over the 9-month academic year, plus related service
activities. This is a teaching-focused appointment; research is not
required.

- Experience with Summer Bridge Program
- Demonstrated professionalism, dependability, and commitment to
fulfilling departmental and instructional responsibilities.
- Demonstrated excellence in teaching undergraduate mathematics
and statistics courses, or the potential for effective teaching of
such courses.
- Demonstrate a commitment to and preparation for excellence in
teaching lower-level undergraduate mathematics courses.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with colleagues in
supporting students' learning experiences across different sections
of the same course.
- One or more years of teaching Developmental Math courses
