The School of Music at the University of Alabama invites applications for a full-time instructor. This position is a non-tenure earning, 1-year appointment with the possibility of renewal of appointment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary duties include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in music theory and the supervision of graduate teaching assistants. Anticipated course load: 12 credit hours per semester.
QUALIFICATIONS
Ph.D. in music theory; Ph.D. candidates currently working on dissertations will be considered. Successful college teaching experience is required.
