ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and read over assigned lesson plans
- Present lesson plans to students
- Administer and grade tests and student assignments
- Advise students
- Supervise students in all aspects of clinical education
- Work closely with supervisor regarding nursing education teaching materials
- Order needed supplies to teach required material
- Work with supervisor regarding materials being presented and problems encountered
- Clinical supervision of client care by students
- Make clinical assignments for students based upon students’ knowledge level and abilities
- Calculate student grades
- Collaboration with faculty and administration on curriculum development, revision, and updates
- Attend nursing faculty and department meetings, division meetings, and advisory meetings
- Travel to other ASU-Beebe campuses and clinical sites for teaching and meetings.
- Assist students with all invasive procedures performed on clients at clinical sites
Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse with an unencumbered license in Arkansas; Associate’s Degree in Nursing; and must be willing to work flexible hours including weekends.

With campuses located in Beebe, Heber Springs, Searcy, and Little Rock Air Force Base, we offer associate degrees, certificates, and non-credit training for business and industry. The Beebe campus also collaborates with Arkansas State, a four-year university in Jonesboro, to offer baccalaureate and graduate degrees on the Beebe campus.
