In addition to dynamic teaching, the successful candidate will be expected to advise students in the department as well as work collaboratively with colleagues in service to the department and the college. The Department of Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Physics offers ACS approved degrees in Chemistry with tracks in Environmental and Forensic Chemistry, and a BS degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Qualified candidates will have completed a master’s degree in physics or a related field. Candidates with a Ph.D. are preferred. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to excellence and innovation in undergraduate teaching and be skilled in methods of engaged learning and the use of instructional technology.
