Qualifications- Minimum of an Ph. D. in Physics or related field (Assistant Professor) or M.S. in Physics or related field (Instructor of the Practice). Candidates with a B.S. in Physics or related field that have relevant industry experience and/or a M.S. degree in a non-related field will also be considered.
- Teaching experience with demonstrated ability of successful teaching including laboratory experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work well with other faculty, staff and students.
Supplemental InformationPOSITION DETAILS, COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: Full-time (9-month) professional-track or tenure-track faculty position. Faculty service, with pay and benefits begins January 1, 2027. Annual salary of $58,000-$61,000 for Instructor of the Practice, and $64,000-$67,000 for Assistant Professor depending on qualifications and experience, with additional compensation available for optional summer/overload teaching.
