Founded in 1953, Hudson Valley Community College (HVCC) located in scenic Upstate NY is a multi-campus College with locations in Troy and Malta New York. (Position Is a full-time Probationary, Tenure track Position) Fall 2026
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree (Master’s preferred or completed within 48 months of hire) in an allied health field or other discipline relevant to the program; possess a credential in the field of Radiology through the ARRT (or national equivalent); have a minimum total of five years of experience in the field of Radiography, either as a practicing technologist or as an instructor in Radiologic Technology, or a combination of both, within the past ten years; post-secondary teaching experience in related discipline.
DUTIES AND/OR RESPONSIBILITIES
The full-time faculty – Radiologic Technology reports to the Department Chairperson of Medical Imaging and performs the following duties:
- Correlates clinical education with didactic education
- Incorporates hospital policies into curriculum
- Develops course content materials to align with ASRT & ARRT guidelines
- Evaluate students and maintains knowledge of student progress
- Collaborates with department faculty to develop and implement new assessment processes
- Maintains current knowledge of program policies and procedures
- Prepare, produce, and disseminate relevant course information to program director and appropriate faculty
- Assists program director with biannual clinical supervisor meeting agenda and presentation
- Support programmatic accreditation; assisting with accreditation renewal as needed
- Assists the program director and program faculty in periodic review and revision of program curriculum
The Salary beginning the Fall 2026 academic year is $53,000.00.
