Instructor, Welding
Job Summary
Reporting to the campus department instructional leader, instructors provide assistance to students in their learning process by utilizing all appropriate college resources, materials, facilities, and educational technologies available to complement the teaching and learning process providing a direct impact to student success.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Performance Requirements include accepting and teaching classes based on varied schedules and modalities, accommodating student needs, aiding in curriculum development, preparing and delivering instruction, communicating with students, pursuing professional development, preparing assignments, maintaining classroom environment, tracking attendance, evaluating performance, providing feedback, assigning grades, assisting with assessment, and accepting assignments at other sites.
Service Excellence includes supporting the mission and values, completing training, attending regularly, adhering to policies and safety procedures.
Required Minimum Qualifications
- Associate degree or higher
- Three (3) years of non-teaching work experience in welding
Degree must be from a regionally accredited college or university.
