Job Description
We are seeking a qualified Clinical Psychologist to undertake teaching commitments for the postgraduate clinical psychology programme and undergraduate clinical courses, and to provide clinical supervision.
Key Responsibilities
1. Teaching & Facilitation:
- Serve as instructor (tutor) for clinical psychology courses at the postgraduate level and clinical courses at the undergraduate level
- Mount your own courses or work closely with course instructors of existing courses to co-teach, co-facilitate sessions, and assess student work
- Deliver lectures and tutorials on clinical psychology topics
2. Clinical Supervision:
- Provide individual and group clinical supervision to students in the Master's in Clinical Psychology programme
3. Support for Clinical Placements & Internships:
- Support masters-level clinical placements by facilitating mid-placement and end-placement reviews
- Oversee undergraduate clinical internship co-ordination
4. Programme Administration & Other Duties:
- Participate in the selection and admission process for candidates applying to the clinical psychology programme
- Assess and mark case studies, and other clinical assignments
- Undertake other duties as assigned by the reporting officer
Qualifications
Required
- Master's degree in Clinical Psychology
- Minimum 3 years of post-qualification working experience
Essential Competencies
- Demonstrates clinical experience working with both child or/and adult clients
- Proven experience providing clinical supervision
Other Relevant Preferred Competencies
Prior experience teaching or tutoring clinical psychology topics (undergraduate or postgraduate level)
