Job Summary

The Marketing Intern will contribute to the design and writing of daily creative assets that support campaigns and brand initiatives for The Nucleus Institute. The Nucleus Institute is Utah's Hub for the Innovation Economy. This role is ideal for a student with strong technical design skills, a talent for copywriting, and the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Design digital and print materials (ads, social graphics, event flyers, presentations).
• Write copy for social media posts, email campaigns, landing pages, and promotional content.
• Maintain and update website content in Squarespace, ensuring accuracy and brand consistency.
• Collaborate with the team to align visuals and messaging for campaigns.
• Organize digital assets and assist with campaign execution to meet daily deliverables.

Minimum Qualifications

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, or equivalency
• Currently enrolled in a Utah institution of higher education and pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

Skills & Abilities

• Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, and Squarespace.
• Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to tailor messaging for different audiences.
• Excellent time management, creativity, and adaptability in a fast-moving environment.

Preferences

• Portfolio of prior design or copywriting work (class projects or personal projects acceptable).
• Familiarity with social media scheduling or analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, or native platform analytics).
• Basic knowledge of SEO principles or email marketing platforms (such as Mailchimp or Constant Contact).
