The Office of Admissions at The University of Tampa is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated International Admissions Counselor to join our admission team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in recruiting and advising prospective students for both undergraduate and graduate programs.

Responsibilities

1. Recruitment: Actively engage with international prospective students through various channels to promote undergraduate and graduate programs.
2. Advisory Services: Provide comprehensive guidance to prospective students regarding admission requirements, application procedures, and academic programs.
3. Application Processing: Manage and process international student applications.
4. Collaboration: Collaborate with academic departments and other stakeholders.
5. Events and Outreach: Represent the institution at international events, fairs, and educational exhibitions.
6. Counseling: Offer support and counseling to international students.
7. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree required.
2. Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office products and web applications required.
3. Extensive international travel required (approximately 50%).
4. Ability to travel and work evenings and weekends. Must have a valid driver's license and passport.
5. Knowledge of SEVIS, F1 and J1 visa regulations.
6. Strong knowledge of admission processes and academic programs.
7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
