The Bursar of the Faculty of Medicine of Masaryk University appoints a selection procedure for the position
International clinical research project coordinator - ECRIN
(working hours 20-40 per week)
ECRIN is a European research infrastructure that facilitates the creation and implementation of international clinical trials in Europe for researchers. It conducts its activities through links with ECRIN national correspondents, national networks of clinical trial units, and its developed tools.
CZECRIN is the Czech national infrastructure for clinical research. It is part of the CREATIC Centre of Excellence and the Czech national node of the European Clinical Research Infrastructure Network (ECRIN-ERIC).
The ECRIN European Correspondent for the Czech Republic plays a key role in supporting and coordinating international clinical trials in the Czech Republic. This expert is responsible for ensuring high-quality and effective cooperation between ECRIN and Czech research institutions, hospitals, and other relevant entities. Their role is to provide support to researchers in the preparation, evaluation, and implementation of international clinical trials.

The scope of your work will be:
- Providing expert consultation to research teams in the planning and implementation of international clinical trials.
- Facilitating cooperation between Czech researchers and European partners within ECRIN.
- Ensuring access to ECRIN resources and services for Czech researchers.
- Active monitoring of current and forthcoming funding calls (e.g. Horizon Europe, national grant agencies, structural funds)
- Methodological support in structuring project concepts and coordination of project proposal preparation
- Providing advice on regulatory and ethical requirements for clinical trials in the Czech Republic and within the EU.
- Providing expert support in the preparation of grant applications related to international clinical trials.
- Active participation in regular meetings of the team of European correspondents at ECRIN headquarters (Paris)
- Active involvement in the development and improvement of ECRIN's internal infrastructure processes
- Active involvement in ECRIN's infrastructure capacity projects.
Required qualification:
- University degree in biomedicine, pharmacy, medicine, or another relevant field.
- Knowledge of clinical trials, including their planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Experience with international cooperation in clinical research (an advantage).
- Knowledge of the regulatory framework for clinical trials in the Czech Republic and the European Union.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Czech.

Type of contract: 1 year fixed-term contract, with the possibility of further extension
Job type: Part-time/Full-time (0,5 – 1 FTE)
Gross Salary: 40,000 – 45,000 CZK for full-time employment – a proportional amount for part-time employment.
Start date: March/April 2026, or by agreement
