Āu Mahi | What You Will Do
We have an exciting opportunity for an Internationalisation Officer (Student Experience) to join Te Kura Umanga | UC Business School. The role of Internationalisation Officer (Student Experience) is to support the implementation of UC Business School’s internationalisation strategy, with a particular focus on the international student experience.
Mōu | Who You Are
Naturally, you will have an outgoing personality with a passion and enthusiasm for supporting ākonga | students in the Education sector, as well as:
- experience supporting the delivery of internationalisation initiatives in the tertiary sector, particularly providing support to international students in a university setting.
- demonstrated academic ability in a relevant subject/s.
- ability to build strong relationships and work effectively with a wide variety of individuals both within and beyond the university, especially in an international setting and with people from different cultures and backgrounds.
- excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to present confidently and effectively to large audiences, with proficiency in Mandarin desirable.
- ability to work independently and as part of a team, especially an international team.
- a high level of proficiency using Microsoft Office applications, and relevant tools for collecting, storing, analysing, and visualising data.
- demonstrated experience in an administrative role, preferably in an academic context, including organising events and complex arrangements.
