Interprofessional Education Lead (Associate Professor)

About the Position

This is a senior academic leadership opportunity to shape and advance Interprofessional Education (IPE) across the Faculty of Health Sciences and Medicine at Bond University. As Interprofessional Education Lead, you will provide strategic and operational leadership to embed innovative, student‑centred interprofessional learning that prepares graduates for collaborative health practice.

Working closely with students, and academic, professional, industry and community partners, you will help strengthen Bond’s distinctive approach to personalised education and workforce readiness.

Other areas of focus include:

• Building staff capability and collaboration through development initiatives and curriculum partnerships.
• Driving evaluation, quality assurance and continuous improvement to meet university and professional accreditation expectations.
• Championing equity, inclusion and culturally safe practice, including the integration of First Nations perspectives.

At Associate Professor level, you will also provide senior academic leadership, mentor colleagues and contribute to Faculty‑wide initiatives, quality processes and accreditation activities.

About the person

To succeed as Interprofessional Education Lead (Associate Professor), you will bring the following core capabilities:

• A doctoral qualification in a relevant health or education discipline, with appropriate professional registration or association membership.
• Demonstrated experience leading, designing and embedding interprofessional or cross‑disciplinary learning within complex academic environments, with the ability to drive change and build shared ownership across disciplines.
• A strong record of curriculum innovation, teaching excellence and applied scholarship, using evidence‑based approaches to enhance educational quality, student outcomes and continuous improvement.
• Highly developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with a genuine commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion and culturally safe practice.

Salary details

The salary for this position commences at $189,734.53 per annum, plus 12% superannuation.
