Intertemporal Processes in Neurocognitive Development

About the Project

Join a programme of work that aims to build conceptual and empirical bridges between the physiological, psychological, and cultural influences on human adolescent development.

You will use neuroimaging, mathematical modelling, and theoretical analysis to describe the maturational processes that link brain-body physiology with cognition and behaviour in young people. Depending on your interests, you will also have the opportunity to draw on the philosophy of developmental cognitive neuroscience, and to apply your insights in the context of mental wellbeing and educational flourishing.

Applicants will need a strong postgraduate degree in cognitive neuroscience, cognitive science, physiology, neuroimaging, or related discipline, a demonstrable preference for open science and collaborative work, and a keen interest in interdisciplinarity.

Funding Notes

Distinction/merit MSc (or equivalent) in cognitive neuroscience, cognitive science, physiology, neuroimaging or related discipline; programming; analytical skills
