OxIntranet is the University’s first Oxford-wide intranet, bringing together the information staff and students need to work and study in one place. Developed as part of a programme to transform Oxford’s digital communications, it is being rolled out across the University to provide a reliable source of content on a single, user-friendly platform.

About the Role
This varied and exciting role will make a real difference to staff and students across the University.
Working closely with content owners, you will provide guidance, support and governance to ensure OxIntranet content remains accurate, relevant, accessible and aligned with agreed standards.
You will take ownership of key strategic content areas, including the homepage, news and events, navigation, search and other critical user journeys. Through regular content reviews, stakeholder engagement and continuous improvement, you will help ensure OxIntranet remains a trusted, effective and engaging source of information.
About You
We’re looking for an experienced digital content professional who has managed content across a large intranet, website or digital platform. You’ll have a strong understanding of content strategy, governance and lifecycle management, and know how to keep content accurate, relevant and useful. Experience with SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 would be a strong advantage.
You’ll be confident working with a range of stakeholders and content owners, with a good understanding of user experience, information architecture and content design. You’ll use analytics and user insights to identify opportunities and continually improve the user experience.
You’ll also be an excellent communicator with strong organisational skills, the ability to manage competing priorities, and an understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive content practices.
