Este contrato está principalmente dirigido a aquellos que han acabado el Grado en Ingeniería Industrial, y estén cursando el Máster en Ingeniería Industrial.
Se valorará muy positivamente la realización de actividades de investigación previas en los campos de interés. Se requiere perseverancia, iniciativa, creatividad en la resolución de problemas y voluntad de colaboración con otros miembros del equipo investigador.
This contract is primarily intended for candidates who have completed a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering and are currently enrolled in a Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering.
Prior research activity in relevant fields will be highly valued. We are looking for candidates with perseverance, initiative, creativity in problem-solving, and a strong commitment to collaborating with other members of the research team.
Specific Requirements
Es importante que el estudiante tenga gusto/facilidad para la programación; que se sienta cómodo manejando y analizando bases de datos; y tenga cierta familiaridad en la lectura/redacción de documentación técnica en inglés; ya que la mayor parte del trabajo consistirá en esto.
It is important that the student has a taste/facility for programming; is comfortable handling and analyzing databases; and has some familiarity in reading/writing technical documentation in English; as most of the work will consist of this.

Possibility of teleworking. Participation in a research project (Pow3R) funded by the State Subprogram for Knowledge Generation 2023 in the framework of the State Plan for Scientific, Technical and Innovation Research 2021-2023. Integration in a working team within the research group of the UPM in “Computational Statistics and Stochastic Modeling”.
Eligibility criteria
Se aplican las pautas establecidas en el proceso de selección del nuevo Reglamento para el proceso de selección y contratación del personal investigador, personal técnico y personal gestor relacionado con la investigación de la Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, aprobado en la UPM.
Los interesados deberán enviar un CV resumido (máx. 3 páginas, indicando las notas medias del grado) y una carta de motivación (máx. 600 palabras) a la dirección eduardo.caro@upm.es.
Los criterios de selección estarán basados en la formación, méritos y experiencia de los candidatos. Se valorará de manera muy positiva que el candidato haya realizado investigación científica previa, cursos de formación, cursos de aprendizaje de programación, TFG, etc.
