Project background and description

The cell cycle is the process by which all cells reproduce. It underpins the growth and development of all organisms and plays a key role in cancer when cell reproduction goes out of control. Cyclin Dependent Kinases (CDKs) are the major regulators of the eukaryotic cell cycle, controlling onset and progression through S-phase and mitosis.
