Investigation of predation pressure on physiology and gene expression levels of known plant growth promoting bacteria and harnessing its interaction under field condition
Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the position of one Junior Research Fellow in a DBT-funded research project.

Essential qualifications: M.Sc. Degree in Microbiology, Biotechnology, or relevant area of Life Sciences with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent and with CSIR-NET/GATE/BET qualification. (Non-CSIR-NET/GATE qualified candidates can also apply; however, if selected the fellowship will be given as per the norms of DBT, New Delhi). Desirable: Practical knowledge in microbial (bacteria/protist) culture, molecular biology (PCR, qPCR), gene expression analysis, and field experimentation will be given preference.
Age limit: 28 years
Salary: As per the norms
Duration: Three years or up to the termination of project (subject to the review of candidates’ performance)
