The IOP Program Manager will play a critical role in advancing the mission of the Institute of Politics (IOP) by partnering with the Executive Director, Director, senior leadership, and student leadership teams. This position involves developing strategies, conducting research, and supporting innovative programming across core functions including Communications, JFK Jr. Forum, Conferences and Events, Fellows, Internships and Careers, and other key initiatives.
Responsibilities include collaborating with leadership to design and manage operational strategies, building relationships with external partners, developing metrics for program effectiveness, identifying and outreaching to speakers and fellows, leading research projects, mentoring students, and analyzing program outcomes.
Qualifications require a Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of program management experience in academia, politics, or government. Preferred skills include a Master’s degree, experience in strategic planning, student engagement, event planning, supervisory skills, and excellent communication abilities.
This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Cambridge, MA, with a term appointment ending one year from the date of hire.
