Scope/Position Summary
This position functions to coordinate all aspects of patients' pharmaceutical needs in the patient care areas. Duties include but are not limited to: assurance of appropriate dose, route, frequency and duration of therapy; patient medication profile review for drug-drug interactions, duplication of therapy, drug allergy interactions and appropriate regimens; coordination of patients' pharmaceutical needs with physicians and nurses.
