Job Description:
This position will be responsible, but not limited to, the following:
Multimedia Training Development & Graphic Design:
- Designs, develops, and updates graphical and interactive training materials, video tutorials, and visual aids for core software applications.
- Creates user-facing graphic assets, visual documentation, user manuals, and online knowledge-base modules following required branding standards.
Software User Support & Technical Troubleshooting:
- Serves as the primary point of contact for end-user support
- Identify, document, and resolve access to software tools, and usability issues.
- Conducts training sessions for users to ensure effective utilization of our tools
Systems Operations & Application Support
- Supports core application systems and business functions across user groups.
- Assists with user account management, access provisioning, and credentialing within platform security guidelines.
- Performs quality assurance testing on software updates and deployment builds prior to release.
Documentation & Administrative Support
- Assist in maintaining an up-to-date data documentation library of user guides and release notes.
- Manages multiple day-to-day operational priorities while maintaining progress on ongoing project commitments.
- Performs other support and multimedia duties as assigned.
- Work in close coordination with the supervisors and other team members to understand the expanding needs of our users and stakeholders.
Other duties as assigned.
Expected Salary:
Commensurate with education and experience.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred:
- A bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Digital Arts and Sciences, Communications, Information Technology, Management Information Systems or Computer Science.
- Experience with digital graphic design in developing a variety of graphic products such as logos, illustrations, audio/video
- Experience with creating training videos
- Experience supporting users working in transportation safety information systems, especially those using tools in traffic crash data and analytics
- Experience with user software testing in transportation safety applications and related UX/UI design
- Familiarity with the Florida traffic crash data and traffic crash form
- Understand traffic crash geolocation and crash diagramming.
- Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing with user groups and sponsors and maintain an effective working relationship with those groups.
