Required Qualifications:
- Two years post-secondary coursework
- 2 years experience with desktop and/or IT helpdesk/service desk
- Experience providing hardware and software support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and printers
- Experience with direct customer support
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Windows and/or Apple macOS operating systems, software application administration and hardware
Equivalent combination of education, experience, that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may be considered.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with audio/visual (AV) equipment
- Experience with technology research, management, procurement and deployment
- Experience with managing vendor interactions

This position is designated as an on-site role and is not eligible for an alternative worksite arrangement at the time of hire. Following successful completion of the initial probationary perod and demonstration of satisfactory performance, employees in this position may be considered for a hybrid work arrangement, subject to departmental needs and supervisory approval. Under the University of Nebraska Information Technology Services (NU ITS) hybrid work guidelines, eligible employees may work remotely up to two days per week and are required to work on-site a minimum of three days per week at on of the University of Nebraska campuses in Lincoln, Omaha, or Kearney.
