Job Overview

The role of the Japanese teacher is to help students at our university speak Japanese and improve their practical Japanese skills. Responsibilities include preparing lessons and teaching materials, instructing adult students, conducting counseling sessions, supporting colleagues, managing records, and creating progress reports. There are 14-16 classes per week, each 45 minutes long. This position does not include office hours.

Qualifications

1. Native Japanese speaker
2. Under 60 years old
3. Bachelor's degree or higher
4. 2+ years of teaching experience or a teaching license

Salary and Benefits

1. Monthly salary: 10,000 RMB/month (for 14-16 hours/week).
2. Accommodation: Free furnished apartment provided.
3. Medical: Health insurance.
4. Airfare: Round-trip ticket between Japan and China provided (after 1-year contract).
5. Contract: September 2024 to July 2025 (11 months). Additional 1,400 RMB allowance during winter break for Chinese New Year.
