Job Overview

Inner Mongolia Normal University is seeking 2 full-time Japanese language lecturers for the Japanese Department in the School of Foreign Languages.

Position Details

• Institution: Inner Mongolia Normal University (www.imnu.edu.cn)
• Location: Hohhot, Inner Mongolia, China
• Start Date: Fall 2024 semester for one year (renewable upon mutual agreement)
• Job Type: Full-time Lecturer

Responsibilities

Teaching Japanese language courses in the Japanese Department.

Qualifications

• Native Japanese speaker with Japanese nationality
• Master's degree or higher
• Age 55 or younger at the start of employment

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary: Starting from 9,000 CNY (approximately 190,000 JPY) per month for Master's holders; 10,000 CNY (approximately 210,000 JPY) per month for PhD holders (based on education and experience)
• Contract: One year, renewable
• Housing: Free furnished apartment on campus with appliances, heating, etc.
• Travel: One round-trip airfare per year reimbursed by the university
• Insurance: Commercial insurance provided (premium paid by university)
• Leave: Weekends off; other holidays per university regulations
