Johns Hopkins, founded in 1876, is America's first research university and home to nine world-class academic divisions working together as one university.
Johns Hopkins Technology Ventures (JHTV), the university’s technology commercialization division, is recruiting students graduating in Spring 2027 and recent graduates for the August 2027 cohort of the JHTV Analyst Program. This structured, two-year experiential learning program is designed for candidates interested in innovation, entrepreneurship, healthcare, science, business, law, technology, and public impact.
We are seeking a cohort of JHTV Analysts to contribute to high-priority strategic initiatives while gaining broad exposure to technology commercialization, startup formation, intellectual property, corporate engagement, venture funding, innovation programming, data and analytics, and organizational operations. The program combines meaningful project work with professional development, mentorship, executive exposure, and cross-functional learning. Through these experiences, analysts develop the analytical, communication, project management, and leadership skills needed for graduate study or future careers across the innovation economy.
Analysts will be assigned to a JHTV team or functional area based on organizational priorities, available projects, and alignment between business needs and individual interests and skills. Assignments may include research and analysis, data and reporting, commercialization and venture support, program operations, business strategy, stakeholder engagement, or other emerging priorities.
At the end of the two-year program, analysts may be considered for open positions within JHTV or the university; however, continued employment beyond the program is not guaranteed.
