Distinguished Professors of Jiangsu University

The University has set up distinguished professor posts. The candidate is required to hold a doctoral degree, be under 45 years old, have innovative ideas for the discipline construction and academic research, and have the capability to lead the discipline to reach the advanced level at home and abroad within its frontier area.

During the recruitment period, in addition to the salary stipulated by the state, the candidate enjoys the post allowance of CNY 120-150 thousand per year, scientific research starting fund of around CNY 1 million (to be specified upon negotiation), a setting-in subsidy of CNY 0.6 million. All these allowances are subject to negotiation.

Youth Distinguished Professor of Jiangsu University

The University has set up the youth distinguished professor posts. The candidate is required to hold a doctoral degree, be under 35 years old, teach core courses, supervise students pursuing master’s and doctoral degrees, actively host provincial major scientific research projects, and obtain significant achievements in this field.

The post allowance for Youth Distinguished Professor of Jiangsu University is CNY 90 000 annually. The scientific research starting fund is around CNY 100 000 (to be specified upon negotiation). The setting-in allowance is CNY300 000-350 000.
